Connect an AI assistant to Patchlist
Patchlist has a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. An assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT connects to it as you, after you sign in to Patchlist in your browser, and can then read and build your projects when you ask it to.
https://patchlist.app/mcp
Claude
Opens Claude with Patchlist filled in. Confirm there, then sign in.
Claude Code
Run this once, then run /mcp in a session and sign in.
claude mcp add --transport http patchlist https://patchlist.app/mcp
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT settings, add a connector, paste the server address, choose OAuth, and sign in.
What you need
A Patchlist account and an assistant that supports remote MCP servers. There is nothing to install and no key to copy: the assistant opens Patchlist, you sign in, and you select Connect.
What the assistant can do
It can do what you can do in Patchlist: read your projects and the ones shared with you, and create and edit projects, inventory, console maps, comms, mic plots, cable counts, festival Master Patches, checklists, share links, and PDF exports. Give it a run of show as a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a Google Sheet, and it builds the Mic Plot from it. It cannot delete a project, invite people, or change your account.
Other assistants
Any assistant that supports MCP over HTTP with OAuth can use the server address above. An assistant that can't sign in takes a token instead: create one under AI assistants on your Profile page and send it as an Authorization: Bearer header.
Disconnect
Open your Profile page and select Disconnect next to the assistant. Changing your password disconnects every assistant.
